This course, which is run in conjunction with Sterling Consultants, introduces participants to treasury management. The course will initially look at the external financial environment, the regulatory environment and the nature of a building society and its treasury function. Following this introduction, there is a more detailed look at the instruments and rules that govern liquidity, wholesale funding and financial risk management.
The course is aimed at those with little or no treasury expertise and is likely to be of interest to non-executive directors and senior management as well as those working in areas with exposure to treasury. No previous knowledge or experience is assumed.
