Treasury Risk Management - 26 November 2008

This course, which is run in conjunction with Sterling Consultants, will help participants understand in more detail the financial risks societies face. The course will initially provide an overview of the key financial risks before placing these within the regulatory framework. Following this introduction there is a consideration of how to measure and report risks before moving on to how to actually manage them. In the final sessions there is an examination of the role of the ALCO and its operation in practice. This will include discussion of the type of reports ALCO should be receiving and examples of good and bad practice. The course is likely to be of interest to non-executive directors and senior management as well as those working in areas with exposure to treasury. No previous knowledge or experience is assumed.
