How can I make a complaint about my building society?
All building societies have complaints procedures and your first point of contact should be one of the society's branches or the Customer Services Department at the society's head office (the address of which can be found here). Most complaints are sorted out very quickly. However, if you feel the matter is not resolved, and your complaint is about the administration of your account, you should then write to the Financial Ombudsman Service, South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SR with full details of your complaint and the response you have received to date.
