Over the past few years, firms from all corners of the financial services industry have been looking at how to serve the needs of an ageing population. The BSA and its members have been at the centre of this debate in the mortgage and savings market.

The Financial Conduct Authority intends to publish a forward-looking strategy on preparing for an ageing population. As a first step they have invited responses to a discussion paper, and the BSA's response can be found here.
