In a Government re-shuffle at the end of January there were changes to the Treasury and DCLG ministerial teams. Andy Burnham MP (Lab, Leigh) moved from the Treasury to become Culture Media and Sport Secretary. Yvette Cooper MP (Lab, Pontefract and Castleford) replaced him as Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
