Making Mutuality Matter

This report by the BSA details the many initiatives building societies have developed to engage with their members.  Making Mutuality Matter – The Building Society Sector Experience of Listening to Members is the third edition of this research report, previously published in 2003 and 2004.

In particular the report looks at involving members; getting out the AGM vote; new technology; meeting members face to face; member panels; making membership meaningful and member nominated directors.  A number of case studies, supplied by societies, are used to illustrate the breadth of member engagement in the sector.
