Barnsley Training Services has a strong pedigree and an excellent track record to prove it, having provided an extensive range of training for Society staff including Investors in People status.

Training Services is the training arm of Barnsley Building Society and they run and maintain extensive programmes for the Society. All staff are offered the NVQ training programmes and the department has developed a well-established reputation for high quality training services within the region. On the back of this success, the team registered with OCR to become an NVQ Assessment Centre.

This now allows Training Services to offer external NVQ delivery to local companies who want to offer their employees the opportunity of development through an NVQ qualification.

The range of NVQ qualifications offered are designed to place your company in a stronger position for the future. These include specialist areas such as

Barnsley Training Services offers a cost-effective method of providing your staff with the skills to match your business needs.

Training prices will be dependent upon your requirements and staff numbers involved. Some training in South Yorkshire may be able to be subsidised through access to funding initiatives eager to promote professional vocational training. Further details can be offered.

Programmes are delivered using the facilities available in the Society’s training suite, based at Permanent Building, in Barnsley Town Centre, with convenient assessments at your offices if preferred.
