Association of British Credit Unions
ABCUL is the trade association for credit unions in England Scotland and Wales Association of British Insurers The ABI is the trade association for the UK's insurance industry Association of Friendly Societies The Association of Friendly Societies is the representative body of UK friendly societies. Friendly societies are mutual organisations providing a wide range of savings, assurance, insurance and healthcare products. AIFA is the trade association representing Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs). The Association of Investment Companies represents more than 300 investment trust companies, working with them to help investors learn more about investment trusts. The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries is the sole trade body for mortgage intermediaries. The Association of Mutual Insurers is the trade association for mutual insurance companies in the UK. APACS is the UK trade association of banks and building societies that exchange payments on behalf of their customers. The Co-operative Group is a family of businesses engaged in a wide range of activities. Each member of the Co-operative Group conducts its business in accordance with co-operative values and principles. Council of Mortgage Lenders The CML is the trade association for mortgage lenders in the UK, and its members undertake around 98% of UK residential mortgage lending. The European Central Bank was established in 1998 and its main aim is to implement monetary policy for the euro area. The ECB also acts as an advisor to the European Community and national authorities on monetary matters. The European Mortgage Federation is a European trade association for the credit sector.
