Reinvigorating communities

9 September 2019, London

Building on the BSA’s recent Reinvigorating Communities report, this seminar gives the opportunity to explore further how building societies and credit unions are helping to revitalise their local communities.

  • Find out how societies are changing the role of their branches and what they are doing to maintain them as a destination on high streets.
  • Hear from MHCLG about the Government’s plans to support town centre regeneration, and from consultants on retail brand experiences.
  • Discover how engaging community relationships are made integral to a building societies’ strategic positioning, and how this is brought to life through working with local partners.
  • Explore how societies and credit unions can assess whether the impact on their communities is effective.
