Liquidity, funding and treasury management

15 June 2017, London

The BSA, in conjunction with ALMIS International, brings you a major full-day seminar on various current topics across liquidity, funding and treasury management for building societies and smaller banks.

The first part of the seminar will help you understand the Net Stable Funding Ratio requirement that is being introduced as part of the implementation of Basel 3, and the consequences for regulatory reporting. There will also be a session covering the latest update on clearing, margining and the impact on counterparty appetite in the derivatives market.

After lunch we will hear about what’s happening in the sterling debt markets, with a look into the future post-Brexit, and there will be a presentation on the new code of conduct for wholesale markets. We also plan to have a brief introduction to CertBALM, the new Level 6 qualification for aspiring treasury professionals that has been piloted by the Asset and Liability Management Association.
