Liquidity, funding and ALM update

12 July 2018, London

The BSA, in conjunction with our Associate ALMIS International, brings you this full-day seminar covering a range of current and relevant topics across liquidity, treasury and asset/liability management for building societies and smaller banks.

The seminar will start with a presentation about the work towards a risk free sterling reference rate to replace LIBOR as a benchmark. The second morning session, presented by an expert practitioner, will address a number of aspects of Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book, also a recent focus of policy.

After lunch, PricewaterhouseCoopers will explain what is going on in the relatively new area of Pillar 2 Liquidity, and share some high level insights from some recent survey work in our sector. That will be followed, appropriately, by a short teach-in by ALMIS International on the related new return PRA 110. And the final session of the day, also presented by ALMIS International, will provide insights on how to get the best from an ALCO, and what kinds of internal reporting and MI really add value.

Who should attend?
