Secretaries seminar

9 October 2018, London

Today, the role of a building society secretary encompasses an increasingly broad range of responsibilities. In addition to core responsibilities such as organising and minuting board meetings and the Annual General Meeting, many secretaries are involved in corporate governance, board effectiveness and development, recruitment and alignment to board strategy and addressing the perennial challenge of increasing member engagement.

This full day seminar, run jointly by the BSA and Addleshaw Goddard, will cover all of these areas and more. It will be an ideal opportunity for society secretaries and Chief Executives to catch up on the current issues and to liaise with their peers.
