The recently-appointed Minister of State for Housing, Planning and Minister for London at the Department for Communities and Local Government will be speaking at the BSA's Annual Lunch in November.
As part of Theresa May MP’s new team of government ministers, Gavin Barwell MP will provide an expert view on the prominent issues currently surrounding housing in the UK.
Upon hearing the news of his appointment as Housing Minister in July this year, Mr Barwell said he was: “Hugely honoured” before adding that he was looking forward to “working with councils, housing associations, developers and investors to ensure we build the homes people need and deserve.”
The addition of Gavin Barwell MP will certainly spark engaging conversation at the Annual Lunch.
The event aims to highlight key areas of interest to the mutual sector, opening them up for discussion. BSA members, trade bodies, government ministers, regulators, the media and industry peers gather for a lunch with thought-provoking dialogue, promoting the mutual sector’s key focus areas plus networking.
