Staff from Progressive Building Society pulled on their running shoes and ran into the dark of night last Wednesday, all in the name of charity.
The team took part in the Belfast City Airport/Grant Thornton Runway Run challenge in a bid to raise money for the Welcome Organisation; one of Belfast's largest homeless charities. At around 11pm, participants raced down the runway of Belfast airport under the cover of darkness for the '5k run with a difference'. All money raised will go to support vital services, such as drop in centres, housing advice, IT facilities, life skills courses, health care and much more. A huge well done to everyone who took part, from all at the BSA.
