Now, access to home ownership has deteriorated to the extent that the Conservative government in England is looking to expand its provision of ‘affordable’ home ownership to help 2 million more households into ownership.  Based on an independent report from the London School of Economics (LSE) for the BSA and UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE), report authors  Christine Whitehead and Peter Williams explore what can be done to improve the situation.
