Our Head Office is in the heart of Cambridge and our strong local network of branches and stores stretches out around Cambridgeshire. Our customers are able to do business at a time and place that’s convenient to them. We’ll be here online, on the move; using our money app, visiting one of our branches, contacting our customer contact centre, or speaking to our Mortgage Advisers.
Our mortgage Intermediary network continues to expand which benefits from a dedicated BDM team. We strive to make a difference every day with our expert customer advice and we’re delighted this has been recognised in a number of industry awards. In 2020, we won ‘Best Lender Website’ and were highly commended as ‘Best Regional Building Society’ in the What Mortgage Awards. We were also shortlisted in the ‘Building Society of the Year’ category at The MoneyAge Mortgage Awards.
We actively find ways to help people have a home, by supporting people who couldn’t buy without our help, and working with groups in our community who offer services for shelter and housing. Making The Difference is our way of delivering on this fundamental cause. Launched in September 2018, it’s the reason we’ve launched pioneering initiatives such as Rent To Home and our First Step Mortgage. It’s also been the driving force behind our Community Partnerships and Community Fund.
We’ve developed a digital Society powered by people approach, embracing advances in technology, complemented by face to face engagement with our in store experts as the ideal in financial services. We want to encourage all members of The Cambridge to join the digital revolution, with support from real people and our trusted financial name. We continue to evolve and our recent developments include the launch of Loyalty Regular Saver, an account which offers customers a broad choice in how they manage their account, offering access via multiple channels.
