The BSA welcomes the focus on gender diversity that will come from the Gadhia Review. Hilary McVitty, Head of External Affairs at the BSA commented: “The BSA and representatives from amongst its members participated in the review. Growing and recruiting talent is a focus right across the sector with more women needed as part of this talent pool. A number of societies have already made a member of their senior executive team responsible for gender diversity, often alongside other forms of employee diversity such as disability, race, creed and sexual orientation. We and our members look forward to studying the Gadhia report in detail. Each of our member businesses will take their own decision whether to sign up to the Charter.”
