The BSA Marketing Symposium is a series of quarterly events bringing key marketing topics to life for attendees we will introduce a range of experts, successful user cases and practical exercises, where marketers can meet like-minded professionals to share their experience and knowledge.

The latest event in the series took place online at 3pm on Wednesday 26 November.

In today's Retail Banking world Building Societies are having to fight harder than ever to attract and retain retail deposits. The challenger banks are having our breakfast, the savings platforms our lunch and now AI Fintech's are coming for our tea.

But with a little thought and the application of Behavioural Science to make sure we are using all the tools in our marketing box we can fight back.  This session taught delegates how to make their marketing stand out and improve conversion when customers engage using the power of Behavioural Science.

Speaker Richard Milner, Lead Behavioural Designer at Cowry Consulting, explained how to attract, convert and retain retail savings customers.

The event covered:

  • Learn about the behavioural science behind people and their attitude to money
  • Identify ways to review your customer journeys and communications to improve conversion
  • Take away a range of ideas to make your retail funding strategy more effective
