Suade RegTech Forum returns to London this November

Suade's annual RegTech Forum returns to the prestigious Guildhall, London on November 5th. The event brings together more than 400 industry leaders, regulators, and technology experts to explore the latest trends and innovations in regulatory technology.

Why you should attend?
It’s a standout speaker lineup this year. Bill Coen led the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision through Basel III implementation, and Neil Esho is the current Secretary General of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision are joining us.

They’ll also be joining our CEO and co-founder Diana Paredes on a panel titled ‘Basel III: Adapting to Regulatory Divergence and Competitive Threats’. And as if that wasn’t enough, Bill and Neil will also be wrapping up the day with the closing keynote.

The panels cover topics that matter now more than ever:

  • Basel III is diverging across jurisdictions in ways nobody planned for
  • DORA came into force in January, but most firms are still working out what it actually means in practice
  • Data standards remain fragmented despite a decade of discussion

The gap between what regulators intended and what's actually happening has never been wider, which is why these conversations can't wait another six months.

The format actually works:

  • Five panels with proper time for questions, not the usual rushed five minutes at the end
  • Networking over lunch and drinks where people tell you what they're really struggling with rather than what they tell the regulators. Past attendees consistently say that's where the real value is

This year’s speakers include:

  • Neil Esho, Secretary General of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision
  • William ‘Bill’ Coen, Former Secretary General of the Basel Committee and Member of the Suade Advisory Board
  • Ruth Doubleday, Head of Prudential Regulation, Building Societies Association
  • Gonzalo Gasós, Senior Director of Prudential Policy, European Banking Federation
  • Dawd Haque, COO Regulatory Transformation and Strategy
  • Ffion AclandGlobal, Lead of Global Banking, Markets Data Modelling and Data Analytics, Goldman Sachs
  • Mark Mahers, Head of Finance Systems and Data, Coventry Building Society
  • Conor Litton, Chief Financial Officer, Global Finance Board Director, TD
  • Madush Gupta, City of London Councillor, Policy Lead for Innovation and Technology
The day will conclude with networking drinks from 18:00 to 20:00, please join us for an evening of conversation, drinks, and canapés with fellow attendees and speakers.
